MY NAME IS KRISTEN.
I AM A POET AT HEART.

ONE DAY, SOMEONE GAVE ME A

RED PEN.

I discovered the joy of language, poetry, and puns at a young age through reading books of all genres, particularly by reading and writing poetry. After earning a BA in English, I worked as a proposal writer for a leading non-profit before jumping into the glorious world of freelance editing.

My experience includes writing and editing short stories, marketing blurbs, literary analysis, event scripts, biographical essays, and technical writing. I've enjoyed working on projects in the fantasy, sci-fi, historical drama, horror, and crime genres.

Currently based in Scotland, you'll likely find me with my nose in a book and a warm mug of tea in hand. Otherwise, I'll be chasing around my three little minions, or cozying up on the couch with the family fur babies.

COURAGE

Hemingway said that “there is nothing to writing. You just sit down at a typewriter and bleed.” It takes courage to pour your heart and soul onto paper, and even greater courage to share that piece of yourself with another human being (much less an innumerable audience!). The courage you pour into your stories will inspire your readers, as well as inspire me as your editor — and I will bring my own courage to the table as we work together to finalize your project.

TAKING ACTION

Between Pages Editing is proud to donate 10% of proceeds from every editing project to non-profit libraries and literacy programs, both locally and abroad.
